Lea and Andy are warm and welcoming and I was blown away by the level of service. The coffee, which was amazing, was always full. As were the assortment of breakfast goodies one might munch on. The breakfast was amazing and so was the presentation. I am still looking for that breakfast lasagna recipe on the internet :) Lea gave us a cooler to take our day treats around in which was very nice of her. She gave us some great suggestions on where to go and what to see.

What gives it a one star is the bad attitude of the owner/host. They are way too fickle with too many rules that it makes this place awful.

My wife and I had a great time. The room and food were fantastic and Andy and Leah provided us with excellent options of places to check out in the area.

Stayed here with my wife in late June for my birthday. I was really impressed with the inn and the grounds. The breakfast was delicious, the rooms were comfy, and everything was clean.

I would highly recommend Le Puy to anyone looking for a great place to stay while in Willamette Valley. We had an amazing time while we were here and I think you'd be hard pressed to find a better B&B anywhere, let alone in the Valley.

The grounds are also beautiful and so is the view from the dining room. Wow! In all honesty not one thing was spared when they thought of this place and how to make it inviting and warm. From the decor to the service to the grounds to the advice, it's truly a special place.

LOVE this place! Perfect couples getaway. New, clean, nice and quiet, never heard other guests while there (presumably due to the respectful policies in place to genuinely ensure enjoyment of all guests). Coffee was outstanding (a must for a Seattleite), food delicious and well-presented. Lea and Andy were gracious and accommodating, and had great restaurant and winery recommendations for us.

I agree with the comment that if you want to hang out with friends and socialize, or want a house for more eating/cooking in, then this probably isn't the best fit for you and you should just vrbo or rent a house. But if you're looking for a high class place to stay and plan to dine out and mostly just relax in your room then you won't find a better place!

Save some money and your dignity and stay somewhere else.

We'll definitely be making this our go to stay on our yearly Willamette trips from now on.

I called to make a reservation at 9:30pm and was told to call the motel 8. I don't think I have ever been treated so rude in all my life.

Having stayed here twice now and had a perfect experience both times, I think the couple of negative reviews here are COMPLETELY unfair. (While I won't address all the points specifically I had to chuckle at what some of the guests seemed to be expecting, or at a minimum acknowledge they are likely new to B&Bs and how they work). If you've stayed in many B&Bs you will realize this is as good as they come. Trust me, you don't want to be in your room listening to a group of other guests hanging out drinking in their room or common space when you're either trying to have a romantic evening or go to sleep after long day of wine tasting. Nor do you want the hosts constantly around making small talk with you at every turn; they have lives too and are gracious and friendly enough, but are not here to be your companion any more than a hotel would. Nor do you want to smell another guest's Dominoes pizza or Chinese food smell lingering in your room all evening because they brought food in; OR not be able to sit outside on the common area veranda and enjoy the view because another guest has spilled food all over the couch and the pillows so they need to be removed and washed (this unfortunately happened during our visit when another guest broke the rules and left a big mess for the owners to clean up in the morning-- now that's rude!)

The accommodations were just as good as the hosts and the valley itself. The room was spacious and clean with ample amenities (mini fridge, vanity mirror, sitting chairs, small table, flatscreen, great wifi for streaming, shampoo, body wash etc). When we were there it was over 100 everyday and being a Seattlelite I'm not one for sleeping in heat so having cold AC or the ability to set it cold was another plus in my book.
